Dual Enrollment/Early College
BHS juniors and seniors have the opportunity to participate in Vermont Dual Enrollment Program which allows students to take up to two college-level courses for both high school and college credit at Vermont colleges and universities.  Students may need to achieve certain scores on tests such as the Acuplacer Test and meet other academic requirements in order to take participate in specific classes.  College courses and grades are listed on a student's BHS transcript and count towards graduation.  If students wish to take a required high school class at the college level, prior approval must be given by the BHS Guidance Director.

Seniors may also apply to the Early College Program at area post-secondary institutions.  Students take all their classes at the college-level during their senior year for both high school and college credit.  Students may continue to participate in co-curricular and athletic activities if their schedules permit.  Students receive a BHS diploma and graduate with their peers in the June graduation ceremony.  Students must be accepted by the college and meet pre-requisites in order to participate.
